The built environment fascinates me. I love how architecture has changed throughout the years and how much history can tell us about a civilization by analyzing its constructions. I am grateful to have chosen a career that is my true passion. Working with the built environment and designing solutions to improve people’s lives gives me the energy to continue developing my knowledge and skills.

Phase One of the Rodd Charlottetown’s guestroom renovations is now complete and open for the peak season. It has been such a pleasure to work with Carolyn Bertram and Mark Rodd. Here’s to a great summer.

My absolute favourite place to be is in the lap of nature. I find it very humbling and inspiring. The different colours, textures and patterns with the ever-changing seasons make for great storytelling. Be it tree barks, mossy greens, pine needles, fallen leaves, wave washed boulders or the shallow ocean floor, there’s always something to pique my curiosity and give me ideas about my next design concept.
